Re: [Co-Op Thread] - Off Line Communications for Sky Factory

I spent a little time consolidating chests. Everything is moved down to the small storage area. I placed an elevator at the central platform that goes down to a walkway and my thought is to put the ae2 storage down there to have it centralised. The walkway also has rooms for a lava generator, enchan...

Re: [SERVER INFO] SkyFactory 2

In reference to the restart I asked for, that was a problem with Microsoft authentication servers or some weird thing. All Minecraft servers were giving that error. So that wasn't the mods, just Minecraft servers having a hiccup.

They should accept any solid block.

Re: [Co-Op Thread] - Off Line Communications for Sky Factory

Alternatively, make a carpenter's block, disguise it as a normal block in the floor, and then shift right click with glowstone dust. Makes the block glow.

Re: [SERVER INFO] SkyFactory 2

I think the server needs a restart. I tried to put a bucket on a shelf and was disconnected. Server is still showing as online but I get an error when I try to log on.

"Failed to login: The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request"

Re: [SERVER INFO] SkyFactory 2

Still having the block problem. Can't break anything around the main platform or access anything. Maybe some kind of protection?

Re: I fixed my Skyfactory 2 world... and then...

The lilypads do work on them, I believe. I did a few tests on a SSP world and the magic crops grew about twice as fast with as they did without.

Re: [PLANNING] Skyblock's 2

I think all we need to start is a platform with trees and some extra saplings as insurance. The path from starting the map to branching into various mods is extremely linear, so we can either have Moly give us the basics or the first few people on can set up everything. I'm talking about the progres...

Re: I dun goofed

Discord is a voice chat service like Teamspeak, Mumble, or Ventrilo, but same thing as Skype really. You join a room, and you can type in the room chat or join the voice chat channel. Skyblock is a certain type of custom map where you spawn on a tree in the middle of the void and you have to build e...

Yep, voice chat is completely optional. Some people prefer to type, some talk. Both are welcome.

We used to have a mumble server but I don't know if we do anymore. I definitely support using Discord.

Re: I dun goofed

Yep, by no means does it have to be large. I'm also imagining with us all being flatmates the individual projects will be more community projects as well. Build the multiblock structures and such as central projects and we can all build our houses around the main platform.

Re: I dun goofed

You need a mob spawner to progress. The flesh is used to make more dirt and the loot bags are indeed a required step.

Re: I dun goofed

If his idea isn't a skyblock style map I think that's a good option for us at this point.

Re: I dun goofed

Sharing resources and chatting, helping others out is the main fun of SMP but of late it's been pretty much the single player experience with very occasional visitations from other players Boy, with the thing I have on the side for a "different experience", you'll get what you want. I am ...

Re: I dun goofed

Has the server gone down again? I was charging my wand from a node when it suddenly came up with a "server closed" message. That was about 10 to 15 mins ago and it's not come back up yet. I just keep getting "connection refused" messages. It's .. ooh.. 18:10? GMT on Sunday 17th ...

Re: Show us your BeastSquish Builds!!

Since the restart I've been slowly building back up when I have time. Here are a few pictures so far. Walking up to my house. I use Basalt Brick, Sky Stone, and the Dark Cobblestone and Dungeon Glass from Chisel 2. http://i.imgur.com/P00HP3f.png The top of my reactor as you walk by. Very basic setup...

Server crashed about a millisecond after I crafted a vanilla bookcase, so I believe it will need another kick.

I honestly can't give an exact time frame. We're hoping to have everything back to normal as soon as possible.

Notice of Downtime

The server is currently undergoing some very necessary maintenance and will be down for an amount of time that I am not sure of. Our vanilla server is already done, and is up. Thank you for your patience.
